B. Public Sector Clients

Foresee is supporting the UK Central Government on a number of subjects.

In June 2010, Miriam Maes was invited as a Member of the Ministerial Working Group on the 10% Carbon and Energy Savings Programme. This Programme aims to achieve 10% energy and carbon saving in government operations in the first 12 month after the Conservative-Liberal Democrat Coalition government came to power in May 2010.

In September 2010, Foresee’s CEO Miriam Maes was appointed as Delivery Advisor to the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

As Delivery Advisor on the Central Government 10% Carbon and Energy Savings Programme, Foresee’s CEO is advising on topics such as:

• Delivering the 10% Energy and Carbon Savings by May 2011
• he Funding of a wider 25% Public Sector Energy and Carbon Savings Programme;
• The so-called ”D3” of Demand Management or Energy Efficiency, Decentralised Energy and Demand Response
• Private Sector Funding of Energy and Carbon Savings projects
• The Whitehall District Heating Scheme.
